На последнем родительском собрании, как это водится, нам, родителям, чьи дети закончили 5 класс вручили список литературы для внеклассного чтения. Замечу, что большинство авторов были зарубежными, книги изданы 2006-2007 году.На собрании нам пояснили, что есть классика (соответствующий список для прочтения тоже вручили), а есть современная детская литература и современные авторы, которых тоже надо знать.Список был составлен в министерстве образования и "спущен", так сказать, в школы.Зайдя в ближайший книжный, мне "удалось" купить
несколько книг из этого списка. Дома (почему не раньше????) я решила полистать купленные книжки и на случайно открытой мной странице одной из книг, читаюЦитата "3 старинные тетки были совсем голые и ноги у них были мощнецкие, как бревна. Пнет тебя такая тетка суперножищей, так на всю жизнь скопытишься со всеми своими причиндалами". Слегка перехватило дыхание.Листаю дальше и почти на каждой странице нахожу фразы, слова, выражения, которые, мягко говоря, вызывают у меня отвращение, недоумение и вообще массу различных, далеко не положительных эмоций.Решила прочитать эту книжку от начала до конца. Не буду называть ни название, ни автора, чтобы не сочли за рекламу. Это повесть, рассказанная от лица главного героя, десятилетнего испанского мальчика про свою школьно-бытовую жизнь.Цитата "До 5 лет я жил, как счастливый человек, пока не родился Придурок. Он орал так, что иначе как Придурком его назвать было нельзя".(Придурок - это младший братик этого мальчика. На протяжении всей книжки, иначе как Придурком он его не
называет).Цитата "Сусанка зашла ко мне домой и, задрав юбку, плюхнулась на диван, обнажив свои трусы. Маме я не раз рассказывал, что трусы у Сусанки всегда грязные. Мама первым делом побежала разглядывать Сусанкины трусы, а потом на кухне тихонечко спросила у меня, почему Сусанкина мама не дает ей чистых трусов".Не правда ли, "очень содержательный текст"?!Жиртресина, жопа, перхоть, простатит, ноги, после эпиляции и это далеко не полный перечень "выражений", которыми изобилует данная книга.Читая эту книжку, я пыталась разглядеть научную ценность, полезные сведения, скрытые воспитательные моменты или что-то еще, что может быть и интересно и полезно ребенку. Но, увы, не нашла.Возможно, я настолько несовременна, и моему ребенку, равно как и другим детям, будет забавно пополнить свой лексикон, выражениями из этой книжки. Но! Мимо детей, рано или поздно, эти слова все равно не пройдут. Но пускай это будет как можно позже и не из книг, которые РЕКОМЕНДОВАНЫ для прочтения.Да, кстати, на первой странице книги красовал

It's been many moons since high school, hasn't it?! You have an even sweeter voice than I remember from those days of "My Fair Lady," "The Sound of Music," and Singer's Unlimited.

We hope so. We are putting together the grandest renunion of all times. Next summer we are going to have a party for everyone that ever was on stage at the Western village. The date isn't set yet. We are still trying to find everybody that was part of the Western Village family

Listened to the sound bites from your album on-line. Very nice, mellow, Diana Krall-ish (I'm a big fan of hers), but with your own unique flavor. You chose songs that I've always loved and put me in the most romantic mood.

I have recently started performing again...after a 30 year hiatus during which I worked as a phone installer, a communications technician, a school bus driver (so I could be with my children more), a manager of one of Mary Engelbriet's stores and a grocery cashier. Serendipity found me as the administrative assistant for the producing director of a community theatre in Boca Grande, Florida. She has propelled me into singing again. It is the joy of my life!!

Found you Wed. past on Amazon while searching for "What are you doing...", that I heard on a diamond TV spot - an all-time favorite. Looked at the titles, and listened to samples here, and had to have the CD. Love it. Takes me way back to my college days. - I'm 70. So glad to see you giving credit including husband & children. My new favorite is "When I look in..." It puts me in a trance Luv it! Looking for 2nd CD.
